Fabulous FabMo Patchwork Quilt 66 x 42 inches very warm

A very unique quilt measuring about 66 x 42 inches. The design of this quilt evolved around the sizes of the samples that were available. I cut a large piece of floral print on light blue corduroy into 6.5-inch squares and built a design around them. Together with the light blue sheet I used for the back, this quilt ties together very nicely. I quilted this colorful design over %100 polyester blizzard fleece, so it is going to be warm. Recycling Works!The top was made from discontinued designer fabric samples diverted from landfill by FabMo, a wonderful nonprofit. Can you believe these gorgeous fabrics were heading for the dump? You will enjoy the different colors, patterns, and textures. This would be a very thoughtful birthday or Christmas gift. Would make an excellent throw for the living room when watching TV or an extra blanket for the car. Nothing says Youre Special like handmade! Can be used on any bed for added warmth to legs and feet, and definitely gives a serious splash of color and interest. If you have a cat that likes to burrow under the covers, they will easily end up under this bed topper. This is a one-of-a-kind treasure made with cotton and linen fabrics in a wonderful array of solids and patterns. I may repeat the pattern, but this color combination will never be seen again. Made to be loved and used.

Happy Birthday Upcycled Gift Tags in Fabric and Wallpaper

These handmade gift tags are like little birthday cards with a printed Happy Birthday giving unique flair to your gift giving. Write your message of good cheer on the back tag and the main tag becomes a charming birthday bookmark - an added little gift! - About 4 x 2.25 inches " 10.16 x 5.72 cm - Presented in a resealable cellophane bag - Topped with ribbon I printed the greeting on white card stock with my laser printer, glued it to recycled tag board, and put it in a press. The next day I glued on the decorative top and put it back in the press. In a day or two the tags are thoroughly dry and ready for die cutting. The edges may be painted lightly with glue to prevent fabric fraying. A second white tag is added to the back with a ribbon, and an eye-catching birthday tag is finished. Recycling works! These discontinued designer wallpaper samples have wonderful color and design. Thankfully, they were diverted from landfill by FabMo, an ecologically minded nonprofit. This is a unique, one-of-a-kind item. There are many unusual tag sets available in my shop.
