About Me
A little about me...
I graduated from Nicholls State University after far too many years in college...full time jobs, children, family always came first and slowed my quest for a college degree...with a BA in Mass Communications. I have always been "crafty," although I dislike being labeled as such. I love creating and have transformed items most of my life. The only craft I don't seem to enjoy is scrapbooking...I can hear the disbelief...don't ask me why, but I just don't enjoy organizing photos. I am a strong seamstress...even though I tell everyone I have no clue what I am doing...and can whip up just about anything. Don't ask me about stitching or patterns (which I use for sizing purposes only)...I just sit and sew. I wish I had more time for sewing now, but making a living is more important. I started making jewelry as a means to give unique gifts. I started with simple hand stamping...this was a suggestion from a friend...and then my creativity took over. I enjoy creating new designs, putting a little bit of me into each piece. If I wouldn't wear it, you won't see it here. Sometimes I wish I could keep every piece I design, so I guess that is a good thing.
